Message from the Coalition of Caring Chair (August 2013)
The planning and preparation for this year’s conference has been underway since January. During the next three months leading up to the conference the Coalition of Caring Planning Committee’s work will be in full gear to continue our commitment to provide a conference for you that meets and exceeds our mission statement.
The conference workshops this year will be both informational and educational to caregivers. Presenter Susan Poulin will provide a motivational and inspirational keynote relevant to our work as a caregiver.
This year during our luncheon we will be having an interactive caregiver discussion titled “The Caregiver View” on caregiving issues.
It is important that we receive caregiver input from you to include in the presentation. It would be appreciated if you would answer some questions relative to your experiences as a caregiver. Please click here for the list of questions to answer, then click 'submit form' on the top right to submit your answers.
In closing I am asking for your help in our conference outreach to fellow caregivers and/or caregiver groups by sharing with them your experiences from attending past conferences.

Message from the Coalition of Caring Chair (November 2012)
The 2012 6th Annual Statewide Caregivers Conference that was held on November 7, 2012 at the Fireside Inn & Suites located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire was a day of success and enjoyment by all that attended!
The conference provided great workshops and presenters, along with the opportunity to network with fellow caregivers. Keynote presenters Nancy Sporborg and Pat Piper shared with the caregivers their inspirational experiences which had all of us laughing and at times in tears.
I would like to say a special thank you to our massage and reiki therapists who volunteered their time to pamper our caregivers throughout the day. I would also like to say a special thanks to DHMC for providing free flu shots to our caregivers.
As always our mistress of ceremonies Becky Rule kept all of us on course and engaged the caregivers throughout the day with her Yankee humor.
Some of the conference evaluation feedback received from our caregivers included:
“Best conference I’ve ever been to! Everything was excellent!”
“This being my first time attending I thoroughly enjoyed and felt relaxed, comfortable, etc. This was my 1st time away by myself in over 24 years! Thank you!!!”
“Kudos to all who put this day together. I was a first timer who found great inspiration and hope.”
“Great conference. I felt like I had a day at the spa.”
“All speakers were top notch. Very engaging and invigorating.”
“1st time at conference. Really relevant speakers, workshops, vendors. Great site – “I felt cared for”. Thank you.”
